Playgroups offer babies, toddlers and young children a wide variety of early learning experiences. Playgroup is a great way for your child(ren) to learn about the world, make friends and develop social skills. Playgroup also gives mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers a chance to share ideas and experiences.
There are specific Playgroups just for parents and babies, but you can also attend any of the community Playgroup sessions, which are appropriate for children aged birth to five. Primary features are facilitator, play activities, safe welcoming space, routines and structure.
Playgroups offer short daily sessions of care and learning through play for children aged two to four years old. In a young children are cared for during the day while their parents or carers do something else on the same premises.
